The Fondation Louis Vuitton, located in the Bois de Boulogne, a short walk from the Jardin d’Acclimatation, opened its doors on 27 October 2014. The foundation’s exceptional contemporary art collections (permanent and temporary) are exhibited in a masterpiece of architectural design by the American Franck Gehry. The visionary architect revolutionizes the use of glass and creates never-before-seen shapes and forms, giving birth to a very unique and innovative building with bright, transparent lightness. In addition to the artistic architectural wealth of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, visitors enjoy panoramic views from the various terraces of the building.
